This usually makes you weaker and weaker as your blood sugar levels will not be regulated. The body cannot tell the difference between its cells and foreign cells.

You also need to be aware of multiple sclerosis. This is the disease that damages the protective coating surrounding the nerve cells. The other name of nerve cell coating is myelin sheath. When the nerve cell coating is damaged, the transmission of information from the brain to the body through the spinal cord slows down significantly. It is like the communication system in your body is shut down in a great way.

Another autoimmune disease is the Graves’ disease. You need to know that your body’s energy usage is controlled by the thyroid hormones. When you have the Graves’ disease, however, the immune system attacks the thyroid gland around the neck making it produce more hormones. This increases the production of the thyroid hormones which causes the body to increase its activities leading to fast heartbeat, nervousness and other things.

The above diseases are the most common ones though there are more that exist. In that case, it is important to ensure that you know the symptoms associated with the autoimmune disease. Most common symptoms are feeling tired, weight loss or gain, insomnia, loss of focus and many others. From there the doctor will help to get the treatment that will ensure that you get your life back.
