i take one mg three times a day it keeps panic attacks from getting to severe.but it does cause me to be tired during the day
I can actually sleep through the night now withought having horrible dreams.
I've used this med for years with virtually no side effects, but I do not take it for anxiety. Because it has a muscle relaxant & muscle relaxant, I use it for chronic pelvic pain. I also use a low dosage, approx. 1/2 mg day as not to build up a tolerance to this drug, which is common with benzos. Have tried tricyclics anti depressants to treat pain as well as other popular pain meds with terrible side effects. Now my Doc is taking me off Lorazapam. Seems the Feds are putting pressure on insurance providers & docs are being advised not to prescribe these. A very bad policy for people have never abused this drug and have benefited so many.
well lets be fair to this pill we have are self to blame if we take it or not its up to you right the pill dont just jump in are hands right read about make your on mind up dont bad mouth it untill you have try it im not saying its a good or bad pill it can be really make you have a strong need for more ok but you all no that going in to it so its not the pill its the person its like the man whit the gun thattkills some one its not the gun its the man the pull the triger that kill him not the gun so its really up to us as person to know what good for us and whats not the blame game on this poor pill blame are selfs ok its us that make the pill bad not the pill it self only us my friends think about
I am dyslexic ADHD plus anxiety & panic attack prone My doc & I decided to try the usual Meds for ADHD symptoms. I tryed the two types & different doses,,I realized that they are not for me cause they add to my anxiety ~~ Lorazapam is the only med that has helped me when a panic attack comes on. Also I have only taken it for anxiety & panic attacks.. I am not takeing it now but at my next Dr s apt I will ask my Dr if he'd RX it for me. It is just now that I feel it could help me as I have been living with sever anxiety for years.. It is just as debilitating as my ADHD is humiliating in the sense that mt experience is most think ADHD is not real or an excuse. Plus I'm an older person and somehow we do not have the priveledge to be accepted with this mental illness as I guess kids are the only ones who are. Anyway I would recommend this fir anyone that could tolerate it if they will take it as RX.. I only take the lowest dose & sometimes just a half of the 0.5 msg. Never thought to take for sleep.. And But I have only taken it once a day when I need it..do not take everyday.. I also take an an anti Dr present. I may need to take a lower dose antidepresent if take this.
