My mom never had any issues before, till she started complaining about noise in her ears and that she can't sleep, so the doctor prescibed Lorazepam for her. She started with 1 mg, but 2 months after she said that it's no longer affecting, so the doctor increased the dosage to 2mg, 4 months after taking this on a daily basis, she started to change and look like she's sleepy, tired, exhausted, barely talks, so we decided to stop he'd medication and find an alternative, but she started the withdraw by taking less dosage foe 2 weeks and she's off the medicine. Now she's really bad, she doesn't feel good, confused, throw up, can't sleep at night, anything bothers her and she's super sensitive and anything would make her cry, so any advice anyone on what we can do of her? Advices appreciated. Thanks
I'm a lot less anxious when using ativan. I can also sleep better at night. Ativan works very well for me and I would recommend it to anyone with severe anxiety.
This is by far the best anxiety medication on the market for immediate help it takes about 10 min. To feel the effects and it is wonderful it's immediate relaxation. I had anxiety about 5 years ago and Ativan cured it. Unfortunately I have been under a lot of financial stress lately and it started bothering me again so my doc put me back on them and it has already killed the anxiety again. Definitely a miracle drug be careful they are for short term only.
Doctor prescribed me 30 .5mg and 30 1mg. I am about 110lbs, 5'4" and the .5 calms me down but doesn't make me a zombie, while the 1mg usually makes me pass right out and have a great sleep. Sometimes it feels like the drug takes up to an hour to take affect, but once it does I feel great. When I am really anxious, I feel the effects more quickly, within 15 minutes. I only take them when I feel anxious, and it usually helps my anxiety go away long enough for me to deal with my problems, so I never feel myself "coming down" from it. Both doses feel like they last the same amount of time (about 6-7 hours), but the calming effect is just stronger with the 1mg.

I had been treated for a seizure and falsified diagnosis of alcoholism and I had not drank for several years and before very lightly! This happened at Mt. Carmel St. Anns in Westerville, Ohio! If anyone is treated there be sure to get your medical record and itemized billing records. Very likely you will find you are a victim of insurance or medicare fraud! They use it to knock you out so you don't know what's happening and then do anything they want. I had a severe reaction of respetiory arrest and had to be placed on a ventilator! Don't trust the bastards. They have a habit of ripping you off! I know because it's happened to me numerous times! I had a good friend actually die at the icu in the hospital mentioned from hospital acquired pneumonia! I was also in there and had the same problem, pneumonia! I'm glad I got out of there before the incompentent quack moron doctors killed me! Just let me die at home next time!!!
