+ Some workout gear I’m loving right now! Thank you so much to Vuori for sponsoring this post.

Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far. Yesterday was my nana’s birthday, so we had lots of birthday festivities this weekend, my MIL was in town for the long weekend, and we also caught up with friends at the pool for dinner. I also taught a challenging and fun barre class. I LOVE being back in the swing of teaching, interacting with people in real life, and creating new playlists.

For today’s post, I’m sharing the playlist I used for a recent spin class + some workout clothes I’ve been LOVING from Vuori.

Maisey agrees that they have high-quality and gorgeous pieces for workouts and for life.

Here’s a playlist I put together for spin last week, including some of the songs you sent in through Instagram.

Download the playlist on Spotify here.

And here’s a cardio and strength workout, based on the above playlist. Simply alternate the moves listed for each track for the duration of the song. As always, talk to a doctor before making any fitness changes. Honor your body and modify as needed.

The Business: Warm up at a steady, moderate pace on the treadmill. (At home: jump rope)

Higher Ground: Alternate 15 weighted squats with 15 squat jumps, 15 walking lunges and 15 jump lunges

Faith: 10 push-ups, 10 burpees, 10 sit-ups, and 20 pulsing squats

Tambourine: 10 heavy deadlifts, 15 bent-over rows

Way Less Sad: 12 overhead presses, 15 triceps dips, 30 second plank (challenge: add mountain climbers)

Follow You: 10 heavy chest press, 20 alternating snatches, 15 kettlebell or dumbbell swings

Magalenha: Sprints! On the treadmill or spin bike: 30 seconds FAST, 30 seconds rest for the entire song. Bodyweight: jump rope or do your favorite plyo move for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds, and repeat for the entire song.

Rasputin: 10 push-ups, 10 burpees, 10 sit-ups, and 20 pulsing squats

Bang My Head: 10 heavy deadlifts, 15 bent-over rows

Don’t Stop Me Now: Sprints! On the treadmill or spin bike: 30 seconds FAST, 30 seconds rest for the entire song. Bodyweight: jump rope or do your favorite plyo move for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds, and repeat for the entire song.

The Hum: Clamshell right side 30 seconds, left side 30 seconds, 25 weighted hip raises

September Song: Cool down and stretch.

Please let me know if you give this a try!

Since I’m working out in the real world again, I’ve been back to wearing clothes and socks that match (lol) and was recently introduced to an amazing new-to-me brand: Vuori. I’ve seen their cute rompers all over Instagram and was so pumped when they offered to work together on this post.

They sent me a couple of new outfits, including this Ribbed Crop tank and matching Rib Studio Shorts. I love the blush color and the fabric is a dream. It’s so well-constructed, not see-through, stretchy and supportive. I’ve already worn this to yoga and to teach barre.

They also sent the Daily Legging and Daily Bra in black. The bra is the perfect black sports bra – perfect for strength training, spin classes, cardio – and the fabric of the leggings is super soft and thick. (I can’t stand thin, flimsy leggings and these ones are just right.)

After trying out these two outfits, I’ve already ordered some more pieces, including the Halo Crew, Halo Performance short, and a Lux romper. I can’t wait for them to arrive. So many of the clothes on their site are ideal for a variety of fitness classes and modes, but also functional and cute for everyday life. Athleisure that fits well and looks put-together while I’m running around makes my heart siiiiing.

A little bit about Vuori:

Their performance apparel is inspired by the active California coastal lifestyle; an integration of fitness, surf, sport and art. I was especially impressed by their mission of ethical and sustainable production practices. They require all suppliers to sign and adhere to the Vuori Code of Conduct, where they set expectations for the fair treatment of labor, safe and healthy working conditions and strict environmental practices. They’re also dedicated to the reduction of waste and offsetting 100% of their carbon footprint, social responsibility and community leadership. It’s an awesome company (based out of Encinitas, CA!) and I’m so happy that they make such beautiful and high-quality products while devoting themselves to protecting their workers, suppliers, and the earth.

Check out all of their products and revamp your fitness gear here. They have free shipping over $ 75 and free returns. The quality is amazing – I hope you love it as much as I do.

Hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see ya soon.
